The Risen Today, A Passion and Resurrection Concert is a presentation of original music and traditional hymns about the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The concert presents ten acts of events in Jesus' life from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday.  

The spiritual inspiration for the presentation came from the events as recorded in the Bible. In writing the lyrics, I used several English translations of the Bible and tried to be as biblically accurate as possible. The musical inspiration came from Jesus Christ Superstar. 

Hymns have been a part of my church life ever since I can remember. I included hymns in the concert to provide familiarity and for the congregation to sing along in various acts. 

The ten musical acts lead us to the day of Jesus' glorious resurrection on that first Easter morning!  

Included in this section are two live presentations of the concert from 2021. The first video was recorded on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021, at St. Paul's UMC in Red Lion, PA. The second video was recorded on Holy Thursday, April 1, 2021, from NoteSpire Studio in York, PA.
